โดยในวันนี้ทาง Sony ได้ยืนยันผ่านทาง PlayStation Blog แล้วว่า เครื่อง PS5 นั้นจะมีฟังก์ชั่นให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถ Live Stream หรือเล่นเกมแบบถ่ายทอดสดผ่านทางแพลตฟอร์มยอดนิยมทั้ง YouTube และ Twitch ได้ทันทีตั้งแต่วันที่เครื่องวางจำหน่าย รวมไปถึงยังมี App สำหรับความบันเทิงอื่น ๆ เช่น Netflix, Disney+, Spotify และ Apple TV มาให้ทุกคนได้ใช้งานตั้งแต่วันแรกเหมือนเคย และจะติดตั้งมาให้ในเครื่อง PS5 ไม่ต้องโหลดเพิ่ม
